Theory as to the meaning of this song
Alan Cross from 102.1 CFNYFM The Edge in Toronto had this song "mysteriously show up" in his office. His description of this song is "Moody, slower. Great grind-y bass synth groove. A natural pick for a single!"[http://www.edge102.com/station/blog_ongoing_history_of_new_music.cfm?bid=8236]

===Theories===
The 'Good Soldier' could be the captain from the comic book style story portrayed in the 'One country at a time' website.
The story tells of a captain in the Syrian campaign, who decided to return a 12 year-old Syrian girl to her relatives in Tadmur, against the wishes of his group. He believes that God(the Presence) wishes him to return this girl to her family, but when two members of his team die, he doubts his faith, attempts to attack the presence and is killed by "friendly fire."

===Trivia===
A "'Good Soldier" ' is another term for a samovar (a decorative metal tea dispensing device that resembles a keg and is traditionally used in Russia).
