<b>The Jesus and Mary Chain</b> is a Scottish alternative rock band, recently reactivated in 2007 after their original breakup in 1999. Primary contributors are the Reid brothers, Jim and William. The band draws heavily from garage rock and noise and is a forerunner of the shoegaze genre. <br>
