[[Nine Inch Nails]] played the ~~first~~ second show of [[Hate Tour]] at The I-Beam in San Francisco, California, on May 23, 1990. [[Meat Beat Manifesto]] was the opening band.

*The show marked the first live performance of "[[Suck]]", a song co-written by [[Trent Reznor]] and the band [[Pigface]]. The song will later appear in reworked form on 1992 EP ''[[Broken]]''.
