MBM did not open. They were still playing in Europe in May 1990. They did not join the Hate tour until Numbers Club.
[[Nine Inch Nails]] played the first show of the [[Hate Tour]] at The Edge in Palo Alto, California, on May 22, 1990. [[Related_bands_and_artists#Meat_Beat_Manifesto|Meat Beat Manifesto]] was the opening act.
