the background really does come from Broken (open the CD case to the "I" panel and rotate the case to right, then look at what is directly above the now horizonal "I")

Material off of ''Purest Feeling'' was performed live in 1988 on Nine Inch Nails' first shows opening for [[Skinny Puppy]] on the [[VIVIsectVI Tour]].

The album cover is a portion of the fire background~~, evocative of~~ from the ''[[Broken]]'' cover art, with three pictures of Reznor performing live.
