Debería hacer esto en español, pero dudo que muchos entendieran... So... I received this e-mail, from "The Bureau of Morality". They know that i've been watching subversive material, so they're warning me to stop or i'll pay the consequences. We seem to be getting the e-mails all over (I've had one in Wales and I have no links to Mexico). It's not linked to the email addresses registered at The Spiral because apparently many non-Spiral members have recieved the email as well. They put this link on http://www.thepriceoftreason.net, so you can see what could happen if YOU keep trying to help. That's The Price of Treason. In some of the cases listed there, they mention the mexican border and people trying to see their relatives in Mexico... i wonder if it has something to do with my nationality, of course, I'm a mexican (one that lives in Mexico... not a "mexican/american").

This novel shows that those Mexico references are not a coincidence. In this book you can see the Joad family fleeing from Oklahoma to California looking for a better place to live... sounds like immigration to me. You'll see the Joads suffering exhausting labor days, social rejection, infrahuman conditions and miserable wages. And at some point, the book tell us what happened to all that territory that once was part of Mexico... just the half of what used to be our country ''(Méxicono nos salgamos del tema). Anyone remember the "frijoleros", the "beaners", the "brownies", the "wetbacks" or the "border jumpers"? Governator, do you like NIN?. ¡Ja! Ok, ok, maybe I'm ovearreacting, but what happens with ilegal immigration in Year Zero?'
