All of the remixes from the US version of this album have been made available on Remix.nin.com through Reznor's official account as of November 24, 2007.
This Halo has yet to be officially released on vinyl in any configuration, and was only released on cassette as a promo in Germany. The same country also had a limited edition version in a black tin box with three pins.[1]
The album contains work from Aphex Twin (Richard D. James): "At The Heart Of It All" and the second half of "The Beauty Of Being Numb". James allegedly claims to have never heard The Downward Spiral, thus revealing his contributions to be two original pieces instead of remixes. As well, "At The Heart Of It All" may be based on or influenced by the Coil song of the same name, the band being signed to Trent Reznor's Nothing Records prior to its fold.
Outtakes from Coil's remix sessions were obtained by fans in 2012 and released on the unofficial download-only compilation Uncoiled, and excerpts were later packaged semi-officially on Recoiled.
CD5 format with black printing on the disc. Distributed in a jewel case with only a black and white printed back insert. The "clean" versions are edited to remove profanity.

The "Rick Rubin Remix" version of "Piggy" is the same as the "Nothing Can Stop Me Now" version found on Further Down The Spiral. The word 'shit' remained uncensored in these radio edits.
