anyone realize that this is what it's talking about when they mention the meeting place on OSR? the pig, and the revolver?

The huge mural, notice the guy on the very left in the shop behind the grate over the door. It's REZNOR!! or just some mexican kid-Velvolver 00:43, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

Does anyone else find it interesting that the US soldiers were stopped in sheer awe at the sight of the Presence, but the enemy snipers either don’t see it or simply ignore it?

The Mural

The bullet carried by the blue winged guy, it says 54 40 or fight. What does this mean? -Velvolver 00:45, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

There's numbers at the top right, I'm adding this section to the mainpage. -Velvolver 05:44, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

54 40 or fight is about an Oregon boarder dispute -Grantzprice 06:33, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

I wonder what the significance is of Eisenhower in the mural... Could it be a nod to the Military-Industrial Complex? --Mr z 07:29, 22 April 2007 (PDT)

Letters on the Mural

I'm thinking that's phonetic for "Defending America"...

Grantzprice 06:23, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

What is the actual street address of the mural? (I didn't get an email....) The Angelus 15:24, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

Nevermind, I got it. Gonna make the meet-up tomorrow night. The Angelus 15:35, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

You make sure to have exact details of what happens, I'll message your talk page too. -Velvolver 16:23, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

Numbers on the Building

I think would be the address of the building. I do not think its part of the mural.

Anyone from LA clear this up?

Grantzprice 06:26, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

I think that's the ID for the billboard, used by the company. Doing a Google search on LA billboards might lead you to this page, which indeed lists billboards by 4-digit ID's (though it does not list this particular one). The billboard with the mural appears to be taking up 3 units of space, from 7769 to 7771. Steer 12:29, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

Billboards generally do have ID tags on them. That was what I assumed it was.

los angeles, like most places, uses odd addresses to one side and even to the other in numbering, so an odd/even address will never sit on the same side of the street, so it's either taking in two units space, not three, or thats just an ID tag. --killjoy 19:53, 14 April 2007 (PDT)

Two versions

There are currently two freakin versions of this wiki page, the other one is the same except the name is in all caps. I've asked tony to delete it and keep this one, but I doubt he'll get around to it. Leo or someone else who can please do it -Velvolver 09:12, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

Your wish has been granted.--Leo3375 09:47, 12 April 2007 (PDT)
Yay! Complaining enough DOES work! -Velvolver 10:00, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

Number Theory

Don't we already have a page that discusses what the numbers could correspond to? I don't think this should be included in this article... Jgrizzy89 16:36, 12 April 2007 (PDT)

Yeah, every time we make a new page we link to the numbers page but a user keeps updating the pages with the passages from the bible and me and leo and others keep reverting it. *sigh* If you see mistakes like this feel free to give us a hand and correct them :P it only takes a few second. --BurnHavoc 24:28, 12 April 2007 (EST)
I was completely against the bible verse theory from late Feb. It's to obvious, and the verses don't match up in any way to the ARG (for the most part and anything else is very very small). The bible verses have basically been debunked back on the numbers page back way back when. And to this day they're still crapping out references to Jeremiah that don't fit in any way. I don't have anything against the Bible, in fact there are parts of this arg that actually quote verses, such as the water turned to blood etc. But it doesn't need to be applied to EVERYTHING. -Velvolver 05:15, 13 April 2007 (PDT)

Site Navigation

I found it frustrating and incredibly distracting to navigate through the pages the first time on the site. Here's how to get from one page to the next (maybe this should be on the article for this page or maybe this is way too specific to take up that space):

  • From home page/default.htm: click on "time"
  • From streetartist.htm: click on the image of The Presence
  • From campfire.htm: in the last panel, click on the soldier's face (is that Blip?)
  • From letter.htm: in the final sentence, click on "Syria"
  • From touriniraq.htm: in the first panel, click on the soldier's eyes (is that the captain?)
  • From hand.htm: in the third panel, click on the shot-off legs below "We're here to help"
  • From abducted.htm: click on the girl's picture
  • From soldiers.htm: in the second panel, click on the flag on the soldier's arm at the far left
  • From tadmur.htm: in the eighth panel, click on the soldier's tattoo
  • From 100mile.htm: in the fourth panel, click on the pills
  • From gomez.htm: in the second panel, click on the helmet
  • From firstthing.htm: click on the drawing
  • From breathless.htm: in the fourth panel, click on the sniper fire, far right
  • From getdown.htm: in the fourth panel, click on the flash from the scope lens
  • From medic.htm: in the last panel, click on the hands & clip of the gun
  • From captain.htm: in the second panel, click on the girl sneaking away at left
  • From another.htm: in the third panel, click on the soldier standing right next to the vehicles
  • From goodygoody.htm: click on the cross necklace in the drawing
  • From exitwound.htm: in the first panel, click on the cross
  • From formletter.htm: click on the sentence "I'm so sorry" (last sentence of the fifth paragraph)
  • From reckoning.htm: click on the drawing (this brings you back to the beginning)
