After NIN returned to the stage for the encore, [[Trent Reznor]] mentioned how he used to love playing Detroit in the small club days of the [[Pretty Hate Machine Tour]], because the crowd was always so amazing. He then stated he was surprised he was still alive, and that people [the audience] still wanted to see him play.
