Could JLYI be the dream mentioned in Even Deeper?
Just a random thought here. For ages I've been thinking what JLYI is about. Has anyone thought of it being the dream mentioned in the 2nd verse of Even Deeper? You know:
- In a dream I'm a different me
- With a perfect you
- We fit perfectly
- And for once in my life I feel complete—
- And I still want to ruin it
There seems to be optimism, beauty & joy at the beginning of the song (JLYI), but it slowly changes into dissapointment and collapse (the final melody: ???? - A-A#-A-G - G-A-G-F). The outro could be waking up from the dream.
I know it's propably far-fetched, but there's basically nothing on this song anywhere on the internet (except for Alan Moulder saying it was his favorite from TF or something like that). I find it a bit weird, given how awesome this song is :-) The Kiw 15:50, 30 December 2010 (PST)
