expandAfter serving as an opening act for both The Jesus and Mary Chain and Peter Murphy, Nine Inch Nails embarked on their first major headlining tour in the summer of 1990. The tour is part of the Pretty Hate Machine Tour series. Opening acts for this tour were Cold Front, Die Warzau, Meat Beat Manifesto, Monkey Fear, Pure, Sky Cries Mary, This Is Our Daughter, Lesson Seven, The Aquanettas, Cxema, Dharma Head, and Supreme Love Gods. The Cleveland show of this tour was filmed by H-Gun, who also did the music videos for "Down In It" and "Head Like a Hole". It was intended to be part of a concert video sold by NIN. That never happened, but a high-generation copy of the video leaked out, and is available in bootleg trading circles.
