Record Label vs Record Company
Record labels are the imprint or brand that release the actual music (the creative side). Record companies provide the business infrastructure, like legal rights, licensing, and contracts.
Null Corp II is a record company that handles soundtrack rights administration or licensing or contract work. When the soundtracks are released, they're released under the Null Corp label (see logo on release).
Null Corp, the record company, owns and administers NIN rights. Releases are also on Null Corp, the label.
