When performed live with NIN, David instead of the album lyrics, Bowie sang lyrics from the his song "[[Scary Monsters|Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)]]" , slowly , and in his lower register instead of the album lyrics. [[Trent Reznor may or may not have ]] played saxophone during these performances. This song was always lead led in by "[[Eraser#Eraser (Dissonance)|Eraser]]" and followed by "Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)". In 2018, a version of the song was performed during the Cold And Black And Infinite Tour, still with a saxophone, incorporating lyrics from "[[God Break Down The Door]]"and "[[Over And Out]]", and notes from "[[The Frail]]" at the end. On [[2018/11/30 Las Vegas, NV|November 30, 2018]], Reznor sang the lyrics from "Scary Monsters (and Super Creeps)" instead of the songs from ''[[Bad Witch]]''.
