This is the original version. A whining guitar lead fades in, soon joined by tom-led live drums to begin the track. A bassline enters with [[Trent Reznor]]'s vocals for the verses, joined by simple piano melodies and muted guitar for the pre-choruses and choruses. Like some of the vocal tracks in "[[All The Love In The World]]"," Reznor sings in falsetto during this song's chorus, a rare feature in the [[NIN]] catalogue. Similar in structure to "[[Non-Entity]]"," this song ends with Dillon's live drums.
