Most performances of the song have featured new percussive backing tracks beneath the main drum beat; one is used on ''Beside You In Time'', while the [[Lights In The Sky Tour]] version used a new ethnic percussion loop. The performance during [[2022/06/17 Cornwall, England|The Eden Project 2022]] featured the live drumming intro from the album version.
"Love Is Not Enough" was performed eight times at the early shows of the [[Performance 2007]] tour, and then twice on the [[Lights In The Sky Tour]]. It did not return until 2022. It was then performed once as a remixed/mash-up version in collaboration with [[Boys Noize]] on Act III of the [[Peel It Back Tour]], using Boys Noize's song "Distort Me" as the base.
