"Intro" is an unofficial title, as listed on the original bootleg cassette and later CD, for the opening track from Purest Feeling. It is an instrumental composed primarily of percussive elements and the electronic drumbeat of "Sanctified".
On later bootleg copies and clones of Purest Feeling, this track is also referred to as "Slate" or "Theme From The Right Track", but these should be considered made-up titles by the bootleggers, with "Slate" clearly being pulled from the remix of "Head Like A Hole".

As heard on the Purest Feeling rehearsal recording, "Intro" was played live as the intro track to Nine Inch Nails live shows on their first tour, leading into the performance of "Sanctified".
