The beginning has ~~sounds from~~ comedian Calvert DeForest (1922–2007) announcing the band and then part "Pinion" and the end is fades out during the transition to "Head Like A Hole," ~~including the scene of comedian Calvert DeForest (1922–2007) announcing the band~~. This ~~song~~ performance was also released on the official ''Woodstock '94'' CD , and ~~VHS. Part of the~~ it was this performance ~~also appears on ''~~that earned Nine Inch Nails their [[~~Closure~~Awards_%26_Accolades#Grammys|second Grammy award]]''.

Woodstock '94 was broadcast in the US on pay-per-view, including Nine Inch Nails' entire performance. VHS recordings of the performance were well-circulated in bootleg trading circles. Many bootlegs exist for this performance, because of the high-quality audio obtained from the pay-per-view broadcast. On one such bootleg, titled ''When The Whip ~~Come~~ Comes Down,'' , the liner notes contain the following description:
