[[Nine Inch Nails]] played at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MNMinnesota, on February 4, 1995as part of the [[Further Down The Spiral Tour]]. [[Jim Rose Circus]] and [[Related bands and artists#The Melvins|The Melvins]] were the opening acts.

A couple of hours later, Trent Reznor addressed the crowd after opening the encore of Nine Inch Nails' set with Closer:

"OK fuckers. What do you want? Hey, if by chance we ever do come back here, and by grace of God we bring the Melvins with us, respect them as Gods. OK? You people are uninformed. It's OK. You're confused. I'm sorry."
