A hilarious mishap (besides Reznor joking ribbed on the light technician during the lyrics of "[[Only (song)|Only]]" by singing : "Sometimes I can see the lights on the stage, and sometimes I fucking don't." instead of the choruswhen the lights wouldn't work properly.) was that the festival Festival coordinators started the end fireworks too soon (NIN was the last act to play), in the middle of the song "[[Hurt]]." This confused Reznor, who paused the song and remarked, : "Well, this is a first!," and watched the fireworks with the rest of the crowd before finishing the song.
