[[Nine Inch Nails]] played at the Forum in Inglewood, California, on September 6, 2008as part of the [[Lights In The Sky Tour]]. [[Related_bands_and_artists#Deerhunter|Deerhunter]] was the opening act.

~~Trent thanked~~ *Early in the ~~crowd~~ show, [[Robin Finck]] had problems with his guitar and after ~~"Echoplex"~~ a while grew frustrated and ~~said something along~~ smashed it against the floor, while the ~~lines of:~~crew scrambled to get him a new guitar.

~~"Let me introduce my band that does all~~ *[[Justin Meldal-Johnsen]] apparently had bass problems near the ~~work~~end, ~~I don't do anything, I'm just here because I look damn good~~but was quickly given a new one."

~~Then after introducing each member~~*During the performance of "[[The Hand That Feeds (song)|The Hand That Feeds]]", a photo of George W. Bush was displayed behind the band, ~~he turned to them~~ and ~~said:~~as the band played the photo gradually morphed into John McCain.

*[[Trent Reznor]] thanked the crowd after "[[Echoplex]]" and said something along the lines of: "Let me introduce my band that does all the work, I don't do anything, I'm just here because I look damn good." Then after introducing each member, he turned to them and said: "Something bright and uplifting, or dark and depressing?" Then they went into "[[Reptile]]"."
