The song begins with a nearly monotone [[Trent Reznor]] singing the verses and repeating, "Why do you get all the love in the world?" Synth drums are used in a slow IDM-esque drumbeat. About three minutes into the song an interpolation occurs. The song transitions into a set of piano chords backed by Grohl's tom-led drums, and eventually a bass guitar beneath layers of Reznor's vocals.

Like while touring for that album (the other was "[[Sunspots]]", however, it has been ). It was performed at several soundchecks and rehearsals with vocals. "All The track also appeared Love In The World" eventually made its live debut on one of the printed setlists before [[2013/11/04 Austin05 San Antonio, TX|AustinNovember 5, 2013 in San Antonio, TX]] show on during the [[Live Tension 2013-2014|Tension tourTour]], but eventually it wasn't and was played eight times on that tour. It featured backing vocals by [[Lisa Fischer]] and [[Sharlotte Gibson]].
