Historically, there was confusion as to whether the [[Soundtracks|soundtrack]] was credited to NIN or [[Trent Reznor]] alone, but this was cleared up by id Software designer American McGee[https://www.quaddicted.com/interviews/americanmcgee] and by the 2020 vinyl edition. Reznor NIN was also responsible for the game's sound effects.
