==A Perfect CircleArmy of Anyone==A Perfect Circle was formed in 1999 by Billy Howerdel, a guitar tech for NIN, Tool, and Smashing Pumpkins (he bears some resemblance to Billy Corgan). Although Howerdel had originally envisioned having Army of Anyone is a female vocalist, [[Maynard James KeenanRichard Patrick]] offered his vocal abilities to the project after hearing some demos. [[Danny Lohner]], [[Jeordie White]], and [[Josh Freese]] are among featuring the other membersDeLeo brothers from Stone Temple Pilots. Their first record came out late 2006. ==Army of AnyoneBird Blobs==Army of Anyone Bird Blobs is an Australian garage rock band who opened for NIN during the new Filter, with [[Richard PatrickWith Teeth International Tour]] and the old members of Stone Temple Pilots. Their first record came out late 2006in 2005.

As the successor to The Damning Well, Black Light Burns also includes [[Danny Lohner]] on guitar/keyboards/sound design, [[Josh Eustis]] on keyboards and sound design and [[Josh Freese]] on drums. Filter was formed by [[Richard Patrick]] and [[Brian Liesegang]] after his their departure from NIN, for which Patrick was the touring guitarist during the ''[[Pretty Hate Machine]]'' era. They have 3 albumsLiesegang soon quit Filter after their first record, leaving the band as the studio project of Richard Patrick and a revolving group of other members. ==Godspeed You! Black Emperor==Godspeed You! Black Emperor is a Canadian post-rock band who opened for NIN during the [[Tension 2013 Tour]].

[[Robin Finck]] and [[Josh Freese]] have played for Guns N' Roses. [[Chris Vrenna]]'s electronic/jazz project Tweaker performed the ''Doom 3'' title theme instead of NIN. Tweaker has 2 3 full-length albums, with a new one set . ==Type O Negative==Type O Negative were an American gothic metal band who opened for 2007NIN during the [[Self Destruct Tour]] in 1994. The band broke up upon the death of lead singer Peter Steele in April of 2010.

==Queens Of The Stone AgeWhite Rose Movement==Queens Of The Stone Age White Rose Movement is a British post-punk band who opened for NIN during the autumn leg of the [[With Teeth arena tour]]. [[Dave Grohl]] has played for both bands in the studio. Reznor has provided guest vocals for QOTSA's Performance 2007 record, ''Era Vulgaris.'' Unfourtunately, the song, "Era Vulgaris" is not on the US edition of the album, but can be found as a bonus track on the European and Japanese editions of the CD.
