{{expand}}In the winter of 1990–91, [[Nine Inch Nails]] embarked on their second headlining North American tour. The tour is part of the [[Pretty Hate Machine Tour]] series. Opening acts for this tour were [[Related bands and artists#Chemlab|Chemlab]] and , [[Related bands and artists#Die Warzau|Die Warzau]], The Adults, Grotus, Fixed Image, Sweat Engine and Ethyl Meatplow.

The setup for this tour was minimal with basic lighting and fog machines. There was also a cagegate-like structure made from metal pipe that went across the stage, separating the drum riser area from the rest of the band. A lighting truss was set up at the front of the stage, from which was hung three chains, much like the ropes that hung down during the [[Hate Tour]].
