Sorry to erase the debate, but the song meaning has now come straight from the horses mouth:

they ask: Capital G scheint aber schon ziemlich deutlich auf George W. zugeschnitten zu sein, oder?
or roughly, "Capital G is about George W., right?"
Trent responds:
"Capital G." bedeutet "Greed".
or
"Capital G" refers to "Greed"
but he does go on to say that it can be applied to Bush, or whomever you feel appropriate.

: http://www.exterminal.net/notes.htm also backs up the "G=Greed" interp, since the author of that note write arrows from monetary figures and "why do this?" to "capital G." Good to see 42e sticking with Reznor's original interp... shows they're working closely. I just thought I'd say if you look at preordering Year Zero on Amazon there is a little sticker that says "Including Survivalism and Capital G" suggesting it might be a single to come. Thought I'd help you guys.

I think that exhibitA and the actual Capital G from Year Zero is different in that exhibitA is out of phase -- where one has a crest the other has a trough (when at the same position in the song) I don't know if there's any way to see if the data has anything hidden when comparing the two.
