Not only are there multiple grammatical I think that exhibitA and spelling errors on this page, but the theories section actual Capital G from Year Zero is completely off base. If you want to have different in that 'nonexhibitA is out of phase -political non-threatening' explanation of what where one has a crest the song is about, than, alright, it's other has a theory. But this trough (when at the same position in the song is blatantly about President George W. Bush. Not only does it say ') I pushed the button and elected ''himdon't know if there' s any way to office" it then says "and ''he'' signs ''his'' name with a capital G"see if the data has anything hidden when comparing the two. Also, if Trent Reznor is singing from the point of view of someone who used to 'stand for something' and no longer cares for other people/things, and this person is the one that put capital G into office, then ithas been pointed out before I offer my condolances because I's safe to assume Reznor is saying that those who put him into office are these such people. Not only do the lyrics STRONGLY suggest this as the true meaning ve been out of the song, but the incident Reznor had with MTV, along with how many times during the With_Teeth tour that he used images of Bush to portray the negative aspects of his song lyrics, both provide ARG loop for a background to his feelings towards Bush and what he has done as a President. Whether these opinions accurately reflect his fans or not, or if this interpretation would offend anyone who read it, does not matter, as it is clearly Reznor's viewwhile.
