Given the "alien abduction" idea that plays into the last four tracks, could this fit the theme also? One could interpret this song's lyrics as a dialog -- part from the abductor, and part from the abductee. The abductor is accusatory, predatory and aggressive. :::I was thinking about this earlier and had an idea or theory. Since Trent is basically the story-teller, he's seeing all of these other lives. Since the whole concept behind Year Zero was a group of scientists sending information back through time, maybe they also found a way to grab Trent's consciousness and implant it into bodies of people living in the Year Zero era (reverse Quantum Leap??) or alternately it could be the Presence which would explain some of the abduction references. Maybe this is the whole concept behind The Slip, Trent slipping from one character to another. [[User:Aeontriad|Aeontriad]]
