:Regardless of if it is or is not related to God, it is hard to ignore the many biblical referances, specifically to the Book of Revelation. If nothing else, Year Zero appears to be at least partially inspired by the vision of the end of the world presented in the Book of Revelation.
According to the new judson Ogram site, the presence is an alien lifeform (not space aliens, but most likely an earth spirit or something)...and according to the old judson ogram site (John of Boston's) it's religious phenomenon.

I think it might be worthwhile to note that the soldiers in the onecountryatatime see the Presence after taking their blue pills. Parepin is speculated to cause people to see the Presence and the blue pills given are given to soldiers to counter the parepin. Yet the soldiers see the Presence.
Also I find it interesting that the US soldiers were stopped in sheer awe, but the enemy snipers either don’t see it or simply ignore it.

Excuse me...If you check out the YEAR ZERO promo on yearzero.nin.com, the one where it's taking a video of the country side. Their is a very brief, split second (and i mean split), where a strange noise is heard and blue rushes across the screen. i pause the video, and scrolled back. on the first line it says...
''I'M TRYING''
on the second, it says...
''TO DELETE''
any ideas, views?
