What's with the extra bar at the bottom of all the artwork files for ''[[The Slip]]''? The only place they seem to appear is on the wiki (ie. they're not in the PDF of the embedded images in the MP3s)? It's most notable on [[Lights In The Sky]] and [[The Four Of Us Are Dying]].

Does the red line tie in to the vocals at all? Because the songs with vocals have red lines, but I think (I haven't checked) the instrumentals don't have red line artwork.
Probably not, as corona radiata has a red line and it's an instrumental, and lights in the sky does not have a red line, and it's a vocal track (bethehammer)

I'm curious to see if the artwork holds any hidden meaning. I was thinking about seeing if the images could be aligned a certain way so that the red lines connect (though I haven't found the time to do this myself). I also found it curious that some of the images have a darker background than the others.
Though i am unsure, i do think in conections with Year Zero, that the hand holding the man in the album art work could be considered The Presence.

I've started putting songs from ''The Slip'' in between songs from ''Year Zero'' and so far have found that some of the songs fit very well together.
For example: 'The Good Soldier' fades really well into 'Echoplex' and 'Vessel' fits into the theme that follows in 'Head Down' and then 'Me, I'm Not'. I've also noticed that the background ambiance in 'Another Version Of The Truth' is very Similar to 'Corona Radiata'.
I'm still moving songs around to find a good mix...and I may throw in songs from ''Ghosts I-IV'' to see if there is another connection. [[User:Aeontriad|Aeontriad]] 5/18/08

Comments:The product info lists this product as having 3 discs. The artist's website http://feeds.nin.com/ninNews describes the product as the follwing "The Slip will be available in an individually numbered 2 disc, 6 panel digipak..." I finally got my physical copy (#7,154!), and I noticed that the artwork on the stickers differs slightly from the artwork in the book. Notably, it's missing all of the red. The three stickers I got were for [[999,999]], [[Letting You]] and [[The Four Of Us Are Dying]]. The first two's artwork in the book has red lines. These are missing from the stickers. :I got #46,063 and stickers for 999,999, Letting You, and The Four of Us Are Dying as well. My stickers also do not have the red lines. I also noticed that in the booklet,the artwork for 1,000,000 has 2 red lines as opposed to none in the digital artwork. All the other artwork appears the same. Is it strictly limited to 250,000 pieces? I mean, I live in a godforsaken hole, so I cannot get an original album that easy, but really need it... :( My question is, after that limited edition, would "ordinary" album without stickers and DVD be on sale?
