I'm curious to see if the artwork holds any hidden meaning. I was thinking about seeing if the images could be aligned a certain way so that the red lines connect (though I haven't found the time to do this myself). I also found it curious that some of the images have a darker background than the others.

Though i am unsure, i do think in conections with Year Zero, that the hand holding the man in the album art work could be considered The Presence.

:... why? The Presence is a giant digital ghosthand that comes down from the sky. that doesn't make any sense whatsoever! - seasonsinthesky 19:35, 5 September 2010 (PDT)
:... and don't forget that The Slip is 2008 and Year Zero is 2022 and it takes from The Slip (YZ adopted AiR flag introduced in TS), not vice-versa. BenAkenobi 05:42, 6 September 2010 (PDT)
::but that's assuming The Slip even has anything to do with YZ, and assuming The Slip, if involved in the storyline, takes place in current time. there's no guarantee any of that is true/intended. - seasonsinthesky 15:19, 6 September 2010 (PDT)

Amazon.com has changed the number of disks to 2. I sthis the correct number or is this a diversion tactic with the release so close?

::Seems that different Amazon sites have different information. Either they're correcting each page seperatly or smoething's afoot. Sheepdean 05:55, 16 July 2008 (PDT)
:::I'm sure that when people start getting their physical copies the information here will be clarified.--leo3375 08:33, 16 July 2008 (PDT)
::::I just noticed that amazon.com was updated to show 2 discs now, but I did notice an 11th track entitled "Slip". We should probably wait to update the main page until this 11th track can be confirmed. Aeontriad 14:40, 18 July 2008 (PDT)

Physical Product Confusion
I'd like to suggest that we condense the confusion over the 3rd disc and 11th track into one section. Since the release info was made offical on http://theslip.nin.com/physical/ there should be no reason to keep all of the rumor stuff, possibly simplify it down to include just minor details over the confusion. == Ths Stickers ==

I finally got my physical copy (#7,154!), and I noticed that the artwork on the stickers differs slightly from the artwork in the book. Notably, it's missing all of the red. The three stickers I got were for 999,999, Letting You and The Four Of Us Are Dying. The first two's artwork in the book has red lines. These are missing from the stickers. Did others get different stickers? And are others' stickers also missing the red? --Mr z 07:33, 23 July 2008 (PDT)
:Alot of people have said this, can you upload your stickers for comparison on the website?Sheepdean 08:08, 23 July 2008 (PDT)
:I got #46,063 and stickers for 999,999, Letting You, and The Four of Us Are Dying as well. My stickers also do not have the red lines. I also noticed that in the booklet, the artwork for 1,000,000 has 2 red lines as opposed to none in the digital artwork. All the other artwork appears the same. The line on the Discipline artwork continues over to the lyrics crossing over the phrase "I cannot help myself" Aeontriad 13:20, 23 July 2008 (PDT)

The Slip as ordinary CD
Is it strictly limited to 250,000 pieces? I mean, I live in a godforsaken hole, so I cannot get an original album that easy, but really need it... :( My question is, after that limited edition, would "ordinary" album without stickers and DVD be on sale?
P.S. I'm really sorry if I did something wrong with writing this comment, I need time to fit in...
:No, sadly - if you live in Amazon delivery range (that is, pretty much anywhere), then just try to get it online, if not, try asking someone on ETS to buy it for you then send to you, they tend to be a nice lot.
