It is different, but I did say similar, they at least sound like they're within the same group of notes. i was listening to == anyone interested in discussion into the GMO Funk version meaning of vessel the other night and song? == i swear i could almost make out the whispering in the background. i am perplexed as i thot the initially thought this song was about the pills or parepin /pill refs too, but after listening to the lyrics again "i define myself by how well i hide", which is not listed in the article, so i dunno, and also "i am turning into something else...i am turning into God", and such. what wondering if there is meant by this? because my theory is what he says in more to the back may elude to another meaning for "of vessel" and the song (which wouldn't b the 1st time there has been kind of double interpretations, now that we can go back and listen . it seems to some older songs w/fresh yr zero eyes) and so i want some folks to help me fig this out. i think this song can be interpreted in more than one way that fits some of the album concept. i am interested in what others think he is saying in lyrics may hold a double meaning which struck me the back..other day.i know that the word vessel can also refer to a woman's ability to bear children has some symbolic significance in some spiritual symbology, and somehow, oddly this thot struck me as i was listening practices. anyone want to itfig. hiding frommore out? how hiding? mystified ::lyrically, I think that "Vessel", "Me, I'm Not", "Echoplex", and "Head Down" are linked. can we make a brainstorm list of ideas or does someone know from the multitracks?[[User:Aeontriad|Aeontriad]] 23:11, 24 June 2008 (PDT)
