On January 7, 2011, Reznor announced that he would once again be collaborating with Fincher by composing the soundtrack to the US film adaptation of the bestselling novel ''[[The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo Soundtrack|The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo]].'' The film is scheduled to be released in theaters in December of 2011.
Today, Reznor is happier than he's ever been. He feels that he has found his calling in life and has found joy in creating music. Although he admits he could very easily relapse into his old ways, because he has been there, he has said he never wants to go back. He and his [[Mariqueen Maandig-Reznor|wife]] currently reside in Beverly Hills with their son children and pet dogs.
