===Where Is Everybody?===
This is the original album version. Beginning immediately with a thumping drum beat and distorted bassline doubled by synthesizers, Reznor delivers the first verse rapidly yet melodically, harkening back to his lyrical delivery on "[[Down In It (song)|Down In It]]." The chorus features a guitar riff as well as rhythm changes for the vocal tracks, which are layered to form harmonies. After the second chorus, a wall of guitars enters, backed by more synthesizers, which eventually give way to Adrian Belew's reversed guitar soloing. This ending crossfades with a brief, quiet, dark and distant instrumental coda, which segues into "[[The Mark Has Been Made]]."

===Where Is Everybody? (Instrumental)===
'''''Running Time: 4:55'''''

Released exclusively through Apple Music as part of ''The Fragile Instrumental'' and later on ''The Fragile: Deviations 1'', this retains the album arrangement and mix, but ends earlier as it does not crossfade with the coda segue into "The Mark Has Been Made."
===Where Is Everybody? (Version)===
'''''Running Time: 5:17'''''

This remix features distorted and cut up vocals and is generally much more atmospheric than the original. Glitch beats enter during the latter half.
