Alan Moulder has worked with Nine Inch Nails on many projects, starting with ''[[The Downward Spiral (halo)|The Downward Spiral]]'', which he engineered. His next collaboration with NIN was when he produced, mixed and engineered ''[[The Fragile (halo)|The Fragile]],'' as well as working on its remixed counterpart, ''[[Things Falling Apart]],'' followed by 2005's ''[[With Teeth (halo)|With Teeth]]'' and 2007's ''[[Year Zero]].''
His work with the band led to him engineering various other albums for [[Trent Reznor]]'s [[Nothing Records]], including [[Marilyn Manson (band)|Marilyn Manson]]'s debut ''[[Portrait of an American Family]]'' and [[Prick]]'s eponymous album.
Moulder was also involved in the [[Saul Williams]] album ''[[The Inevitable Rise And Liberation Of NiggyTardust!]],'' which also saw contributions from Reznor.
