"Love Is Not Enough" has been performed live since the [[Live: With Teeth]] tour in 2005. It was the first song played in the first show on [[2005/03/25]], before the album's release. During the [[With Teeth arena tour]], the song was played with the screen still down, the insides of the stage beaming with white light until it was lifted for the next song, "[[You Know What You Are?]].During the Lights in The Sky tour Every performance of 2008 Love is Not Enough was performed with an alternate drum intro. More notably the intro for this version is also song has featured new percussive backing tracks beneath the same main drum beat from the start of early Nine Inch Nails demo "[[Maybe Just Once]]", a song featured ; one is used on '''[[Purest Feeling Beside You In Time (haloHalo)|Purest FeelingBeside You In Time]]'''. Evidence of these performances can be found on , while the Lights in the bootleg compilation "A Million Miles Away"Sky tour version used a new ethnic percussion loop.
