The single ''Head Like A Hole'' was released in maxi-single (US) and standard single (UK and Australia) formats and do not contain . Despite the absence of the original album version but rather several remixes of on either release, the title track. On non-US versions there Maxi version is an exclusive (Opal) mix. Also longer than ''Pretty Hate Machine'', thanks to inclusion of 5 tracks from the first track, limited UK edition of the ''Down In It'' single (ClayHalo 1) mix : 2 versions of "Terrible Lie" and 3 of "Down In It", all of which had only been available on vinyl when this maxi-single was used due for release; shortly thereafter, Halo 1 was released on CD by TVT as well. In 1993, on the "now defunct Prodigy message boards[[Head Like A Hole (song)|Head Like A Holehttp://www.theninhotline.net/archives/articles/display/327]]" video is mislabeled as , Trent Reznor made the (Slate) mix which is following comments about the first track on circumstances of the US maxi-single but doesnrelease: <blockquote>Also in case anybody was wondering, the 'down in it't appear single was only going to be released on vinyl (because my old record label sucks) so i put most of it on the UK 'head like ahole' single version(which obviously IS on CD) - then the greedy record label releases 'd.i.
