On the CD and cassette versions of ''The Fragile,'' the pregap of "Please" uses the introduction of this song as a segue from "[[The Mark Has Been Made]]."
In a question and answer session from 2000[http://www.nin-pages.de/chat_spin_21_11_00.htm], [[Trent Reznor]] stated the following was stated about the song:
