This edition of the vinyl comes with a booklet containing photos and an essay about the album, written by John Doran. It also remedies the issue of retained song transitions that were split across sides.

For the 30th anniversary of Interscope Records in 2022, limited edition vinyls for a selection of Interscope releases were reissued through NTWRK with reimagined artwork. ''Broken'' and ''The Downward Spiral'' were among them, with ''The Downward Spiral'' featuring artwork by Richard Prince.
