Shall we move this?

How To Destroy Angels (band) kinda seems more appropriate as we KNOW the EP has the same title, and in case NIN, TR or otherwise ever cover the Coil song that it's named after. sheepdean Try to speak as clearly as you can 12:43, 28 April 2010 (PDT)

Wait until there's more info about the EP.--leo3375 16:43, 28 April 2010 (PDT)
Well, Nasty Little Man have said it's a self titled EP [1], I don't think the press company would get it wrong? sheepdean Try to speak as clearly as you can 17:43, 28 April 2010 (PDT)
Yeah I would wait till there is more info (which is why I didn't put much up to begin with) and worry about disambiguation later... - Malechite 19:22, 28 April 2010 (PDT)
I always worry about disambiguation. Also leo, I noticed you've put all of the info for the band in lower case, but all the press info I've seen for them so far is entirely upper case - are you guessing or do you know? sheepdean Try to speak as clearly as you can 02:19, 29 April 2010 (PDT)

Can we assume that the leaked tracklist is right, with the release of The Space In Between? greenfield

Thing is, we don't know the order yet, or if the other song's titles were just placeholders or changed. If we put it in, it would have to be under a separate header, underneath the currently known songs, clearly saying it is using information that we don't know the validity of. If you look at the tracklisting for Year Zero as it came out, it was totally in the wrong order, with some songs missing. I can't see an encyclopaedic advantage to posting it, as we will have to say it's possibly nonsense. sheepdean Try to speak as clearly as you can 13:07, 16 May 2010 (PDT)

htda name

carried over from User talk:JamesLucas
as per P4K and pretty much all official media, the band has decided to stylise their name to How to destroy angels_. If this is reverted back when the album comes out, then the note should be removed, but for now I feel it's apt to leave it in, to cover all the bases. sheepdean Try to speak as clearly as you can 20:37, 12 November 2012 (UTC)

This is a conversation more appropriate for the article talk page, but I think that you of all people could appreciate that citing Pitchfork is about as reliable as citing a random person on the street. I'm pretty sure I remember HelloAnnyong using Pitchfork as a source in 2010 to "prove" to you that Atticus Ross was not in the band. ;-) jameslucas (" " / +) 23:14, 12 November 2012 (UTC)
Obviously Pitchfork alone isn't enough, though it does carry the press release here, unlike the 2010 case. All official forms of media by HTDA since the EP's announcement have carried the underscore, and the press agency that run all of HTDA's press clearly label them with the underscore [2]. Now, this does make their name officially "How to destroy angels_", but do to a) wiki standards of capitalising all first letters in bands and songs and b) simplicity's sake, usage of HTDA and How To Destroy Angels in place of the correct name seems more sensible to me - though I'm happy to go through and change all previous references if anyone disagrees there. However, due to the usage of the underscore across the board, I don't feel, personally, that it's apt to not even mention it as a stylisation. Interviews and Feeds section

Would the section be better served merged in some way with Htda_Questions? sheepdean Try to speak as clearly as you can 09:48, 24 April 2013 (UTC)

I think that's a good idea. Maybe they could all come together in a new page called 'HTDA in the media' or 'HTDA online content' or something along those lines.--Piggy 02:47, 26 April 2013 (UTC)
