Given the "alien abduction" idea that plays into the last four tracks, could this fit the theme also? One could interpret this song's lyrics as a dialog -- part from the abductor, and part from the abductee. The abductor is accusatory, predatory and aggressive. The abductee finds themselves disoriented and insisting they're dreaming the situation. --Mr z 01:41, 11 May 2008 (PDT)

I also thought this. It could also indicate that the author has found themselves inplanted into a different body (kind of like Sam Beckett from Qauntum Leap). Aeontriad
You know how, when you die, your life supposedly flashes before your eyes? Perhaps this is like that, except instead of seeing their own life, they're being accused of and shown all of humanity's evils and being made to atone for these transgressions. Hence the bargaining: "I'll give anything!" --Mr z 21:05, 16 May 2008 (PDT)
