What parameters are being used to determine what bands' covers get listed here?

I first assumed artists signed to a major record label, but then thought it would be more fair/open if perhaps the artist was verified on any given social media or music platform.

External Linking

I included an external link to an article about Asking Alexandria's cover of "Closer," but I was curious if we could link to the actual song either through official YouTube or Spotify links. For example, 2Cellos has the music video for their cover of "Hurt" on their official YouTube channel.
