April 14 Lisner Auditorium

On this old site, I found a note that said "Manifesto" was the opening act for Peter Murphy on April 14, 1990, at Lisner Auditorium in Wash DC.

Armed with that, I was amazingly able to find this George Wash Univ yearbook which confirms on page 86 that local band "Manifesto" opened for Peter Murphy on April 14.

That all jibes with the fact that NIN had their own headlining show at 9:30 Club in Washington DC the next night on April 15. Looking at a map, Lisner Auditorium and 9:30 Club were only 1.3 miles apart, so it wouldn't have made sense that they were opening one night and headlining just down the street the next night.
