He spent some time briefly in the studio with [[Trent Reznor]], [[Chris Vrenna, ]] and [[Danny Lohner ]] during the ''[[The Downward Spiral (halo)|The Downward Spiral recordings ]]'' recording but never had any known contributions that made it to the release. Woolley appears in the [[Nine Inch Nails music videos|NIN music videos]] for "[[Wish (song)|Wish]]" and "[[March Of The Pigs (song)|March Of The Pigs]]".
Previous Prior to joining NIN, Woolley was a major collaborator along had worked with former early NIN drummer opening act [[Chris VrennaRelated bands and artists#Die Warzau|Die Warzau]] to Chicago band Die Warzau, although the two were not in that band at the same timealongside Chris Vrenna. In 1994, just before NIN hit the roadYears later, Woolley contributed heavily to Sister Machine Gun's album ''Torture Technique''. Subsequent to NIN, Woolley made contributions to once again worked with Die Warzau albums again, particularly 2005's ''Convenience'' album. In 1998, Woolley and toured with Rob Halford's one-time [[Nothing Records band Two after Trent Reznor helped him land this gig (Trent opted to retain Charlie Clouser for NIN itself at the time), which also included John 5 of [[Marilyn Manson (band)|Marilyn Manson]] fameact 2wo. With Two, Woolley played live keyboards and did quite a bit He eventually became the leader of vocals as well. After Two, Woolley did some studio audio work in L.A. By 2005, Woolley had relocated to Chicago. Since 2006, he has been involved in a new band called V.O.I.D., whose long-awaited album is due in late 2010. The band is led by Woolley (Keyboards, backup vocals) and features players Jon Roberts (vocals, guitar), Mark Pearlman (Bass), and DJ Aaron Chase (Drums). Woolley passed away on August 15, 2016, from injuries he sustained after falling from a ladder.
