Reznor sings in a different key when performing "Somewhat Damaged" live due to the intense vocal stress it would bring normally. During the [[With_Teeth: Summer Amphitheater Tour]], "Somewhat Damaged" had a substantially different introduction.

In the [[Fragility Tour]] the song was played pretty much the same as the album version, with Reznor on the guitar. Now due to the different introduction, the necessity of Reznor playing the guitar and singing is no longer a factor
