==Biography==
SoonMaandig's first foray into music came as a child, when a friend played the soundtrack to the musical ''Miss Saigon'' for her.She was so impressed that she went out and bought a copy, learned the songs and modeled her vocal style on it. In high school she tried her hand at musical theater, hoping to eventually become a Broadway singer, but decided that it wasn't for her. After high school, Maandig went to fashion school to pursue a career as a personal shopper or stylist but dropped out after feeling jaded about it. She then fell back on pursuing a singing career and used the opportunity to help her overcome her stage fright.
