Changes

The journal talks about Jerry's life since the point he started living at his grandparent on an old trailer of his, until he comes back to Bedford which he had left before. His family had to leave their house at bedford because his father lost part of a leg and after that his mother became unemployed, so they couldn't pay for the house rent. During his time at his grandparent's, he and his sister are schooled at home, and they start drinking water from a well. Since they're off the parepin[[Parepin]], they start becoming more aware of things and start becoming angry at the current state of their lives. His sister steps on a nail, and days later they went contracts tetanus and was taken back to Bedford and she had to go , where Jeremiah drinks Parepin-treated water again. He eventually succumbs to the hospital because she got tetanus from sense-numbing effect of the nail. Some days laterwater, attributes his time off Parepin as a "test of faith, she died" and barely shows emotion at his sister's hideous death from Tetanus. His mother got gets another job , and they stayed back at Bedfordstay in the city.
