Musarra was replaced by [[Chris Vrenna]], who had originally played keyboards. He had previously been a member of [[Slam Bamboo]] with [[Trent Reznor]]. Musarra is thanked in the original liner notes of ''[[Pretty Hate Machine]]'' and may have played drums on the ''[[Purest Feeling (halo)|Purest Feeling]]'' demosrecording. As of 2015, Ron works as an audio engineer for the progressive metal band Mastodon.
