Nine Inch Nails were slated to play at the Madison Square Garden in New York City, New York, on December 7, 1994 as part of the Further Down The Spiral Tour, with Marilyn Manson and Jim Rose Circus as the opening acts.

Cancellation

The show was postponed to December 8, 1994, due to Robin Finck's right middle finger, which he injured in a minor bus accident earlier in the day. The accident itself and Trent Reznor's explanation on it can be seen in documentary footage on Closure.
