Nine Inch Nails played at Flood Zone in Richmond, Virginia, on April 13, 1990 as a support act for Peter Murphy's Deep Tour.

The set was riddled with technical problems. Before performing "Ringfinger", Trent Reznor made a short speech about how "every fucking thing onstage [was] broken." "Head Like A Hole" was to be played, but had to be cut from the set.
