There was also a gate/cage-like structure made of metal pipe that went across the stage, separating the drum riser area from the rest of the band. Shortly after finishing their run on the first-ever Lollapalooza tour, Nine Inch Nails went on their first-ever European tour. They played a mix of headlining and opening concerts over the course of one month. The tour is part of the Pretty Hate Machine Tour series.
